Summary/Objective
The Principal IT Procurement Analyst is Accountable for supporting the Kuvare Technology Vendor Lifecycle Management.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Serve as a primary contact with vendors and champion internal and external relationships.
- Drive sourcing functions of vendor selection including Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and competitive bidding.
- Drive in the due diligence and evaluation process for current and proposed potential vendors.
- Drive procurement functions including negotiating price and contract language.
- Drive vendor management function of continuous vendor review according to Vendor Management Office policies.
- Drive overall performance oversight in accordance with contractual, accreditation and/or regulatory compliance.
- Evaluate current and proposed vendor relationships to identify and recommend savings opportunities. Identify key action steps to capture and implement savings opportunities.
- Drive contract management with vendors, Legal, Risk Management, IT Enterprise Architecture, and Business Owners; this may include negotiating agreements, exhibits, statements of work and pricing; serve as liaison for drafting RFP/RFI process along with evaluation and selection of service providers.
- Monitor and provide overall oversight of Vendor Lifecycle Management as outlined in corporate and departmental policies, as well as accreditation, contractual and regulatory requirements, through regular review and follow up on metrics of vendor’s performance.
- Drive coordination efforts between Kuvare and service providers to ensure expectations are met/exceeded; create transparency and partnership through formal meetings and knowledge share.
- Drive the continual review and adjust contract to terms to best fit corporate objectives and overall spend.
- Conduct vendor risk assessments, scoring and ongoing program evaluation as required via the Vendor Management Office Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Develop control reporting by compiling, analyzing and reviewing data, and providing critical technology vendor information to management.
- Develop and maintain SOPs for the functions of Sourcing, Procurement and Vendor Management.
- Participate/lead in the testing, correction and revision of SOPs.
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline preferred.
- 6+ years of direct work experience in a vendor management capacity, including aspects of vendor management strategy development and execution.
- Experience in overseeing the design, development, and/or implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products.
