HR Coordinator

Summary/Objective

The Human Resources Coordinator supports Kuvare’s Human Resources department. Main responsibilities include administrative support, assisting the HR department with various duties including recruiting, enhancing employee engagement, benefits, and other ancillary projects.

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to

  • Initiate HR transactions, including change of status, termination, appointment, etc.; attach appropriate documentation.
  • Post jobs and respond to external applicants, schedule interviews, assist with reference checking, facilitate background check process and new hire paperwork.
  • Coordinate and support recruitment activities.
  • Rate applicants and recommend candidates for interviews; complete phone screens, as needed; complete pre-interview report; participate in interviews.
  • Submit reference requests and review references.
  • Upon acceptance of offer, coordinate onboarding process; complete HR orientation with employees.
  • Monitor completion of compliance requirements; prepare compliance reports.
  • Respond to inquiries and questions, work closely with HR team members.
  • Provide information and guidance regarding HR processes.
  • Prepare comprehensive HR reports.
  • Completing expense reports and other budget-related matters as assigned.
  • Assisting in preparation for meetings.
  • Providing general administrative support and other administrative tasks and projects as assigned.

Requirements

Knowledge and Experience

  • 2+ years of Human Resources experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • PHR or SHRM Certification, or progress towards, highly desirable

Skills/Competencies

  • Excellent communication skills required, including interacting with tact and diplomacy in written and verbal communication.
  • Effectively interact and work with external and internal customers and represent the Company positively and as the employer of choice.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Ability to resource, analyze and prepare information in an organized and concise manner.
  • Proficient in use of HRIS and MS Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Organizational/time management skills, with the ability to work productively in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
