Operations- Business Partner Specialist

Location: Baton Rouge, LA


Kuvare Corporate Management is searching for a Business Partner Specialist to join our Baton Rouge location and team. The role of the Business Partner Specialist is to support the sales and/or operations initiatives of Kuvare Companies by providing exceptional support to producers throughout the sales process. Provide support and education through case design, product selection, website and illustration software support, and any additional supporting information or resources to enhance the relationship with the producers and increase production with our carriers.

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to

  • Respond to inbound calls and emails by providing support on all sales and marketing related items in a timely manner with the ability to prioritize requests based on need and producer’s value to company.
  • Ability to make product recommendations and share sales concepts based on described client needs.
  • Educate producers on tools, resources and products of the Kuvare Companies.
  • Run illustrations and offer sales concepts for currently contracted producers in order to capitalize on opportunities to enhance relationships, build customer loyalty and ultimately grow sales.
  • Follow up with producer on tweaks/changes needed for illustrations sent and to see if there are additional current opportunities.
  • Handle logistics for group meetings such as making name tags, ordering and sending all needed supplies, etc.
  • Make proactive outbound calls to onboard newly contracted producers based on the relationship with United Life on the appropriate website, how to write and submit business, software, etc. and make favorable introduction to Internal Wholesaler.
  • Make proactive outbound calls as assigned.
  • Provide technical support to producers having problems with accessing or using the tools of Kuvare Companies and/or associated vendors. Escalate to appropriate team for assistance.
  • Track and document all interactions with field partners and copy appropriate Internal Wholesaler and RSD on illustrations sent and any other items deemed crucial.
  • Maintain a service to sales mentality when handling incoming calls/emails and ensure each interaction includes the promotion of company products as well as an attempt to capture additional sales opportunities.
  • Responsible for testing of software, e-app and other programs as assigned.
  • Create and deliver webinars supporting the sales process (e.g., creating an app kit, running illustrations, etc.)

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 1-3 years of life and health insurance sales experience preferred
  • 2 or more call center experience
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Insurance license required or ability to acquire within 180 days of hire
  • Ability to troubleshoot technology issues of producers
