Sales Development Specialist Intern

Summary/Objective

The Sales Development Specialist Intern supports the sales efforts of Kuvare’s Life Insurance and Annuity product lines by collaborating with our internal team.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in identifying existing Firms to support relationship-building and sales growth.
  • Drive attendance to company events, and work with the External Sales Team to follow up with attendees for potential sales opportunities.
  • Respond to email inquiries related to product support, marketing materials, and sales concepts.
  • Develop an understanding of Kuvare’s product offerings and provide sales ideas to Marketers and Financial Professionals.
  • Stay informed on competitor products and highlight the competitive advantages of Kuvare’s products.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

Knowledge and Experience 

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or relevant field of study.

Skills/Competencies

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including telephone experience.
  • Basic understanding of the sales process and the ability to build rapport with key distribution partners via phone.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize in a goal-driven environment.
  • Interpersonal skills that include initiative, high energy, and teamwork.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Basic knowledge of financial products is an advantage.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented work ethic.

Physical Demands

  • Typical office environment with extended periods of sitting.
  • Ability to perform data entry and read from computer screens and documents.
