HEAD OF STRATEGY & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Mr. Murphy joined Kuvare in 2023 as the Head of Strategy & Business Development for Ignite Partners.  In this role, he is responsible for driving the successful execution of Ignite’s growth strategy. Mr. Murphy brings over 30 years of experience in financial and retirement services, having held a variety of senior leadership positions across multiple business segments.   

Prior to joining Kuvare, Mr. Murphy founded and operated an independent financial marketing organization.  Earlier in his career, he was a member of the executive committee of a product development and distribution firm focused on annuities and life insurance, and prior to that the President & CEO of Wealth Management for a top-five financial institution. 

Mr. Murphy earned a BS in Strategic Management from Saint Joseph’s University and an MBA from the Lubin School of Business at Pace University. He holds FINRA securities licenses Series 7, 24, and 63, as well as insurance licenses in over 30 states.
